Defense Council Delegation Meets With Polish Trade Group

WARSAW, Poland–Representatives of the Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) met there with Poland’s National Association of Co-operative Savings and Credit Unions as part of a meeting sponsored by the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU).

During the meeting, WOCCU provided an update on the evolution of the Polish credit union model and how it seeks to assist Polish credit unions in their advocacy needs with Parliamentarians, Chancery, and regulators.

The World Council said it hopes to connect U.S. service men and women stationed in the country with the Polish credit union ATM network and credit union system for local, safe and convenient cash access.

In a discussion of vision, strategy, and execution of 2018 accomplishments, DCUC President and CEO Anthony Hernandez provided Polish credit unions with insights of having an organizational strategy and how to grow stronger in the age of regulatory changes.

In addition, Hernandez presented the DCUC motion graphic that seeks to bring to life the value of DCUC and Defense Credit Unions.
