BOOVILLE–With the “Dead” line on Wednesday, CUToday.info is now collecting your Halloween horror stories.
For many people the last 18 months have been more trick than treat, and credit unions are no exception as they have navigated a boiling cauldron of COVID, witchy work policies, haunting howls for help, and ghost-like members and even employees. So, let’s hear about them!
Don’t limit those scary stories to just your campfire—CUToday.info is inviting you to share them, instead! CUToday.info has created a popular Halloween tradition every year by collecting your Tales from the Credit Union Crypt. Are you still haunted by a ghoulish memory at your credit union (corporate, CUSO or vendor)? Perhaps a former employee without a ghost of understanding about what it meant to be a good co-worker or serve members? PPP loan apps that were Patently Past Prime? A zombie-like practice that refuses to die? A former member goblin’ up resources and time with their demands and requests?
And especially in the last year and a half, stories of possession from Zoom meetings preyed upon by poltergeist.
Cast out your demons by sharing them as part of CUToday.info’s Great Halloween Haunted (Credit Union) House. Just send your story—it need not be long and names can remain anonymous and buried in the cemetery—to CUToday.info’s Frank J. Diekmann at Frank@CUToday.info or Ray Birch at Ray@CUToday.info, and we’ll include the stories during Halloween week.
