DAYTON, Ohio–DayMet Credit Union has launched a new line-up of checking accounts, with the credit union saying added benefits and money saving features are being offered to members.
“The new selection of accounts offers a solution for every member, from basic to robust with earned interest,” DayMet Credit Union said.
The three accounts are named to showcase the credit union’s roots in Dayton, Ohio: Gem City Checking, Trail Blazer Checking, and Freedom Checking.
“Our big focus this year is to add value to our financial product line,” said Steve Shore, president/CEO at DayMet. “We are here to enrich our members’ financial future. Adding innovative and money-saving features to our checking account is one way we can do this.”
Gem City and Trail Blazer Checking both come with benefits provided by third-party vendor Strategy Corps and its BaZing solution, and include offers such as cell phone protection, roadside assistance, identity theft aid, and pharmacy discounts. In addition, account holders have access to the BaZing app on their smartphones, offering discounts at local and national retailers, the credit union said.
