Damm Retirement Announced; Successor Named

WICHITA, Kan. – Larry Damm, CEO at Skyward Credit Union, has announced his retirement effective the end of September, 2016.

The credit union named Kevin Wilmoth as Damm’s successor.

Damm has been CEO of the credit union for 18 years and, prior to that, as a volunteer on the board or supervisory committee of the credit union for 17 years.

Throughout his career, Damm has been actively involved in the credit union industry, formerly serving on the board of the Kansas Credit Union Association and is currently a member of the State of Kansas’ Credit Union Council.

Skyward CU Board Chair Holly Dixon said that Wilmoth, currently SVP/COO at Skyward, has been selected to succeed Damm. Wilmoth has served in various positions in lending and operations over his 19-year career with the credit union. Prior to joining Skyward, Wilmoth held other positions in the financial services industry. He is a graduate of Pittsburg State University and Southwest CUNA Management School.
