PEMBROKE PINES, Fla.–It may have Dade County in its name, but Dade County FCU is expanding north for the first time into Broward County.
The Sweetwater, Fla.-based DCFCU said that for the first time in its 85-year history, it is expanding outside its home county to open a branch in Pembroke Pines, Fla. The branch, which will be its 11th, is set to open this summer.
Meanwhile, the $1.37-billion Dade County FCU is also introducing newly remodeled branches that include what it called a “coffee lounge feature where members can gather to relax, socialize, and engage as well as conduct banking activities.”
To mark the opening of the Broward County branch, the credit union will host a two-day auto sale at the site where more than 200 vehicles will be available.
