CINCINNATI—DEI, a design/build company specializing in banks and credit unions, has been named to the 150 Top Private Companies in Cincinnati list by the Cincinnati Business Courier.
The company noted the Cincinnati business community is loaded with large and small public, private, and non-profit firms, including six of the “Fortune” 500 companies headquartered in the region. However, with 67% of the companies in the region designated as “small business,” the growth engine of the local economy is truly the Main Street firms that compete at a high level, the company said.
The Cincinnati Business Courier released its listing of the Top 150 Private Companies as a testament to the economic impact of privately held companies and their entrepreneurial leaders, according to DEI.
“At the heart of DEI’s success story was the vision of president and owner Richard Grow to form a company that designs and builds workspaces that transform its client companies’ staff and customer experiences,” DEI said. “Grow has seen his private company reach across the borders from the Eastern seaboard of the United States to the West Coast with successful projects and repeat customers.”
‘Honored & Humbled’

“I am both honored and humbled that the spark of an idea that initially formed DEI has now been recognized as a Top 150 Private Company in the Cincinnati metro area,” said Grow. “The team effort displayed by our staff in delivering innovative, on-time, on-budget projects for companies around the U.S. continues to separate our firm from the competition and leads our success forward.”
