WASHINGTON--The Defense Credit Union Council and DCUC Strategic Partner, Allied Solutions, recently joined over a dozen credit union CEOs from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania for a regional luncheon—sparking plans for a DCUC Interstate Sub-Council, the trade group said.
The special event offered credit unions from across the Northeast a new opportunity to collaborate on key priorities and challenges, reinforcing their shared commitment to advancing the credit union mission and strengthening the impact on members and local communities, DCUC said.
"DCUC continues to press forward in ensuring stronger representation for our members nationally, overseas, and, as this luncheon signifies, regionally," said Anthony Hernandez, DCUC president/CEO. "Together with our strategic partners, we’re building greater access, value, and support across the entire credit union movement."
DCUC noted its regional representation continues to grow with five regional sub-councils spanning across 49 states and 20 countries: the Overseas Sub-Council, the Hawaii Sub-Council, the Midwest Sub-Council, the Texas Sub-Council, and the Northwest Sub-Council.
