MARLBOROUGH, Mass., and RYE, N.Y.–The $6.5-billion DCU (Digital Federal Credit Union) and $1-billion USALLIANCE Financial have released new mobile banking apps for both the Apple and Google Play markets.
This new release features improved image processing technology for capturing front and back images for check deposits, integrated camera support for Android Webviews, the ability to include additional transaction details via transaction attachments, and the highly anticipated integration with the Apple Watch and Android watches running Android Wear.
The apps were developed by Vertifi Software, LLC, the technology CUSO of Eastern Corporate Federal Credit Union in Burlington, Mass.
“With the ever growing demand for immediacy and the convenience for receiving information, DCU’s mobile banking users now have the ability to retrieve certain account information with the flick of a wrist,” said DCU’s Julie Moran, vice president of support services, in a released statement. “This first generation watch integration offers the ability for users to receive important credit union notifications on their wrist, as well as the ability to get a snapshot of their current account balances, while providing a unified look and feel with our existing phone apps.”
