DENTON, Texas —DATCU Credit Union announced it has paid out the largest year-end bonus dividend in its history.
The $865-million credit union has returned $3,463,866 to members. This is the eighth consecutive year DATCU has paid a bonus dividend. In the last eight years, DATCU has distributed over $9.5 million dollars back to its members.
According to the credit union, qualified members received a one-half percent (0.50%) dividend based upon a member’s average daily balance during 2016, all balances combined, for the entire year.
“Our members are the key to our success. DATCU had another great year and it’s just another way to reward our members for doing business with us”, stated Glen McKenzie, DATCU’s President/CEO.
DATCU has 88,145 members.
