DES MOINES, Iowa– Curql Collective, a CUSO that seeks to bolster collaboration between fintechs and credit unions and that also makes certain investments in fintechs, reported it has added BlastPoint to its Curql Fund I portfolio of investments.
Separately, it has also added Chimney to its “ecosystem.”
BlastPoint is the 23rd company Curql has invested in, “further diversifying the fund’s offerings and early-stage investment opportunities in the fintech space for credit unions,” Curql said.
“BlastPoint’s predictive customer intelligence platform empowers credit unions to better understand member data and predict member behavior to ramp up engagement, more easily identify prospective members, and reduce costs by facilitating more targeted growth messaging and strategies,” Curql added.
Curql further stated BlastPoint’s solution also helps optimize billing and collections and integrates with existing systems to minimize IT engagement and the need for new processes.
‘Dramatic Increase’
“Leveraging artificial intelligence in a way that’s accessible and helps credit unions dramatically increase efficiency is incredibly exciting to us,” said Curql Collective President and CEO Nick Evens. “BlastPoint impresses us with technology that helps credit unions better understand member data, predict behavior, and ultimately become more member-focused organizations.”
Chimney joins Ecosystem
Separately, Curql is reporting Chimney has become a subscribing fintech ecosystem partner.
While Curql has not made an investment in Chimney thus far, the company has subscribed to the Curql Collective to “provide its award-winning solutions to the Curql Collective credit unions,” the CUSO said.
According to Curql, Chimney built the first financial platform especially for homeowners, Chimney Home.
“Thanks to Chimney’s developer-friendly APIs, Chimney Home is easily embedded into any digital banking app, helping credit unions deliver offers and provide members greater convenience while deepening engagement, speeding approvals, and more,” Curql said. “Available across thousands of websites and within digital banking apps, Chimney’s solution takes complex financial, credit, and property data and turns it into a seamless digital experience integrated right into a credit union’s digital banking. Chimney Home helps homeowners track home value, understand borrowing power, and access recommendations and savings that guide them throughout their experience with homeownership.”
Chimney recently won Best of Show at FinovateFall 2023, its second such win and has also won other recognition.
