EDINBURG, Texas–Credit unions in Texas and Pennsylvania have named new CEOs.
Security First FCU in Texas has named a new CEO. The $350-million credit union said it has selected Erasmo Ramos to lead the organization, effective June 24.
Ramos most recently served as president/CEO of Laredo Federal Credit Union in Texas, where he successfully led the credit union from an NCUA troubled status to a healthy CAMEL rating, according to Credit Union Resources, which handled the search.
Prior to being the president/CEO at Laredo FCU, Ramos served as the president/CEO at La Joya Federal Credit Union in La Joya, Texas.
Separately, in South Williampsort, Penn., Wyrope Williamsport FCU has named Brittany Baker as its new president/CEO. Baker succeeds Barbara Vitolo, who is retiring in July after 24 years at the $36-million credit union. Baker was previously with a local bank.
