WASHINGTON—Seven of eight credit union-backed candidates won their primaries in Virginia, Oklahoma, and Georgia last week, ACU reported.
The one credit union-supported candidate who did not win his primary was Mike Dugan, who was running for the House in Georgia’s third district. Dugan was soundly defeated by Brian Jack in the Republican primary.
In primaries tomorrow, America’s Credit Unions PAC is supporting five candidates in Colorado and 22 candidates in New York, ACU said.
Credit union-backed candidates have a success rate over 98% in the 2024 cycle, ACU noted.
