ALLEN, Texas–Credit Union of Texas is reporting it has partnered with Kai Medical Laboratories in Dallas to offer free COVID anti-body testing for all its employees over a three-day period at its corporate headquarters.
The credit union said it is encouraging all employees to take advantage of this testing, and said all results will be held in confidence.
COVID-19 antibody testing, also known as serology testing, is a finger stick blood test that's done to find out if an individual had a past infection with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
“Credit Union of Texas is dedicated to keeping our staff as well as our members safe during this unprecedented time,” said CUTX CEO Eric Pointer. “As cases not only in Texas but also across the United States continue to rise, we want to ensure we can help our employees remain healthy. CUTX will do whatever it takes to ensure we have a safe environment for employees and members.”
