ALLEN, Texas–Credit Union of Texas is leaving its current Dallas headquarters for a new facility here.
The credit union has leased 52,000 square feet in the One Bethany East office building in the Watters Creek development.
"Providing convenient locations for the communities where our members live and work is one of our top priorities and our growth plan reflects that," said Eric Pointer, president and CEO of Credit Union of Texas, in a statement. "When we looked at our future growth, Allen provided the perfect location for our corporate headquarters as it puts us in the center of our expanded footprint."
Other companies leasing space in the building and related project include Verado Energy, BossFight Entertainment and Allen Economic Development Corp. In all, the development is expected to include more than one-million square feet of office space.
The $1.4-billion Credit Union of Texas has approximately 141,500 members.
