FERNDALE, Mich.–Credit Union ONE is supporting NO TXT ZONE, a campaign to help our roads become safer by educating and encouraging individuals not to text and drive.
The campaign, published by UpNorthLive.com and channels WGTQ/WGTY-TV in Traverse City, Mich., was sponsored by Credit Union ONE and Williams Chevrolet.
According to the credit union, much time and effort from the news stations, itself and the auto dealer was put into the program, which included high school presentations, news stories, commercials, and sign-up events where individuals took a pledge not to text and drive.
"Typically we are about providing credit and a safe place to save, however credit unions at their core are about people helping people," said Neetu Singh, Credit Union ONE VP of marketing. “Credit Union ONE is proud to be part of such a meaningful program that is making a difference in the lives of the community.”
