Credit Union 1 Buys Naming Rights to Ampitheatre

CHICAGO–Credit Union 1 here is putting its name on another Chicagoland entertainment venue.

The $1.6-billion Credit Union 1 said it has purchased naming rights to the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, Ill. The popular music venue in southwest suburban Tinley Park will be called the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but in a statement to CBS Chicago a spokesperson for Live Nation said it is  a "long-term, multiyear agreement.

The venue, which seats more than 28,000 people, has had numerous names, including World Music Theatre, New World Music Theatre, Tweeter Center, First Midwest Bank Amphitheater, the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre and now Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre.

The first act to play the new Credit Union 1 Ampitheatre will be Janet Jackson.

Other Naming Rights Deal

As CUToday.info reported earlier, in 2019, Credit Union 1 signed a 15-year naming rights deal for the former University of Illinois-Chicago Pavilion, now named the Credit Union 1 Arena, and it is the official banking partner the athletic program at Notre Dame.
