EDGEWOOD, Ky.–Cove FCU has received regulatory approval from NCUA to expand its FOM. The $62-million CU has been given the OK to expand into Hamilton County in Ohio, which is just across the river and home to Cincinnati, as well as the Northern Kentucky counties of Boone, Kenton, Campbell, Grant, and Pendleton.
Cove was originally founded in 1970 as St. Elizabeth Medical Center Credit Union. CEO Tom Burns said it is seeking to continue its steady, stable growth plan in the greater Cincinnati community. It currently has just one office, but does participate in shared branching.
Cove FCU has approximately 7,500 members.
