County of Brotherly FOM: Inspire FCU Expands its Membership

NEWTOWN, Penn. – Inspire FCU has expanded its field of membership eligibility and banking services into Philadelphia County.

As a result, the $334.5-million credit union said it can now offer services to more than two-million people who can “benefit from the community-oriented and relationship focused financial institution.”

In addition to its focus on serving the consumer banking segment, Inspire FCU said it is also “extremely focused” on servicing the banking needs of small- to mid-sized businesses, looking for quicker loan approvals and a “more personalized approach to banking, compared to larger banks.”

‘Foster Financial Empowerment’

“With our expansion into Philadelphia County, we aim to foster financial empowerment, strengthen local economies, and build lasting relationships,” CEO Jim Merrill said in a statement.  “From helping individuals achieve their financial goals to supporting entrepreneurs in realizing their dreams, we’re turning aspirations into accomplishments.”

Inspire FCU said it just concluded its ninth consecutive year of double-digit growth in both deposits and loans.
