COLUMBUS, Ohio—Corporate One Federal Credit Union said it will host a series of webinars aimed at helping credit unions deliver world-class faster payments solutions, as will educate credit unions on the importance of the industry’s momentous transition to real-time payments.
Participating in the webinars will be representatives of the U.S. Faster Payments Council, The Clearing House, and the Federal Reserve, and others, Corporate One said.

Oct 1: Understanding Real-time Payments
“Get an introduction to the newest payment rail in 40 years, The Clearing House’s (TCH) RTP network, along with the benefits of real-time payments. Learn how TCH and the Federal Reserve are working on creating frameworks to support ubiquitous real-time payments,” Corporate One said. The session will be hosted by Corporate One’s SVP/Strategic Operations Officer Charles Harkness, who is a member of the U.S. Faster Payments Council.
Oct. 7: How the U.S. Faster Payments Council is Helping Real-time Payments Become Reality
“Learn about the mission and goals of the FPC, how the FPC is working to improve collaboration to promote a world-class, ubiquitous payment system in the U.S., and how your credit union can get involved,” Corporate One said.
The session will be hosted by FPC Executive Director Reed Lutheran and Corporate One’s Harkness.
Oct. 20: Introducing the Newest Payment Rail in 40 years: The Clearing House’s RTP Network
“Discover how The Clearing House’s RTP network is facilitating real-time payments, the roles within the system, and the benefits of the details and data that accompany enhanced payment messages,” Corporate One stated.
The session will be hosted by Sherpa Technologies CEO and President Keith Riddle and TCH SVP of Sales and Account Management Elena Whisler.
