COLUMBUS, Ohio–Corporate One FCU, the League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU), and the Mississippi Credit Union Association (MSCUA) said they have partnered to award scholarships to three credit union professionals to attend the 2017 National Youth Involvement Board (NYIB) conference in Boston July 24-27.
This year’s award recipients are:
- Brian Flatt, Statewide Federal Credit Union, Flowood, Miss.
- Kelly Killingsworth, Army Aviation Center FCU, Daleville, Ala.
- Shirley Langford, SUN Credit Union, Hollywood, Fla.
“Corporate One proudly supports the efforts of the NYIB to increase financial literacy among the nation’s youth,” said Lee Butke, president/CEO of Corporate One. “We’re delighted to partner with LSCU and the MSCUA to offer these credit union professionals an opportunity to attend this conference and further equip themselves and their credit unions to teach the next generation about sound financial decision-making.”
The NYIB conference is a three-day event focused on youth financial education and marketing and geared toward credit union professionals. Topics and content include student branches and financial presentations, and understanding youth culture and exploring tech trends.
