Corporate Central CU Holds Annual Meeting; Sees CU As A ‘Symphony’

GREEN BAY, Wis. – Corporate Central Credit Union held its 37th Annual Meeting here at the KI Convention Center in conjunction with the Wisconsin Credit Union League’s Annual Convention and supported the league’s collaborative theme of “Move in Concert.”

“The credit union movement is a symphony. When we all move in concert, work together toward common goals, we not only define the credit union philosophy by our very actions, we collectively drive forward the credit union movement itself,” said Chris Felton, Corporate Central president/CEO. “Corporate Central wholeheartedly thanks our members, our volunteers and the league for working together with us to continually find ways to improve people’s lives.”

“Keeping members at the forefront of everything credit unions do will bring success to both members and credit unions,” said Eric Chrisinger, Corporate Central chairman. “Corporate Central’s collaborative initiatives with organizations like the league, CUNA, CUES, NASCUS and Filene are based on that fundamental premise of keeping members front-and-center. We are grateful for our partners’ shared values and we thank them for their vital role in advancing the credit union mission.”

Reports from leadership announced that Corporate Central remained financially strong throughout 2017 and continued to grow membership nationwide.

Felton’s membership address focused on recent strategic initiatives undertaken to build Corporate Central’s service offerings, announcing that the organization’s newest CUSOs—QuantyPhi balance sheet optimization, and Emergifi technology solutions—are actively serving credit unions and available to any credit union seeking performance or technology assistance. Felton also noted that Corporate Central’s digital transformation efforts have allowed staff to provide members secure, resilient, efficient, and flexible service from anywhere, at any time, and from any device—as proven in a recent business resiliency test.

“2017 was a year of building at Corporate Central. We are calling 2018 the ‘Year of the Member’ because we are particularly focused on utilizing all of our new tools and resources to make our members’ lives better, easier, and more efficient. We want to help them be ‘Wildly’ successful year after year,” Felton said.

To conclude his address, Felton debuted a new Corporate Central video, titled #iCreditUnion.
