RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.– Citing concerns related to the threat from the coronavirus, CO-OP Financial Services has rescheduled its THINK 20 conference, moving the even from early May to August 17-20. “We have been carefully monitoring the public health concerns surrounding the coronavirus outbreak,” said Todd Clark, president/CEO of CO-OP, in a statement.
CO-OPsaid it will still be providing premium THINK 20 content in May via a one-day virtual conference event. The exact date and content details will be relayed by the company in the coming weeks. According to CO-OP, attendees currently registered for THINK 20 will be automatically registered for both the digital event in May and new live event dates in August. For attendees who find they are unable to attend the rescheduled event, the cancellation/refund policy remains the same, and they have until August 1 to cancel and receive a full refund, CO-OP said. “Our THINK conference regularly attracts more than 800 attendees and, again, it is for their health and safety that is paramount to our decision,” said Clark. “We thank everyone in the credit union movement for their understanding and we look forward to seeing you later in the summer.” According to CO-OP, THINK 20’s speakers, content and conference experience will help credit union leaders “Activate Your Next” and evaluate the difficult, transformational choices needed to engage members and deepen relationships, leading to growth. The meeting is being held at the Omni Hotel in Dallas. For info: https://co-opthink.org.
