Cornerstone, Heartland CU Associations Merger Complete; Personnel Changes Announced

PLANO, Texas – The Cornerstone Credit Union League has now officially merged in the Heartland Credit Union and the two states it previously represented: Missouri and Kansas.

The CCUL now also represents credit unions in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Member CUs voted to merge in October 2022, with 93% members from both organizations voting in favor of the deal.

“We accomplished something great in 2022 by making it possible to combine forces, and now we have the chance to lift our organization and our member service even higher,” said Caroline Willard, Cornerstone League president and CEO, in a statement. “Now that our teams are successfully combined, we will continue to be guided by our commitment to our members’ success. Together with our expanded team and membership, Cornerstone league will achieve scalability and unprecedented value proposition.”
