MARLBOROUGH, Mass.—The Cooperative Credit Union Association said it has opened registration for its CU Accelerate conference, which is returning to Newport, R.I. May 6 – 8.
This conference, which the association described as a favorite among credit unions, is “designed to bring in outside and industry perspectives on critical and challenging issues credit unions confront daily.”
Sponsored by CUNA Mutual Group, the event will feature keynote speaker Judge Frank Caprio, whose top-rated TV series “Caught in Providence” airs on over 200 stations across America, with a discussion of the importance of values in today’s world and especially in the financial industry.
“An Internet super-star who has amassed over six-million followers across social media, Judge Caprio’s videos have accrued approximately four-billion views globally,” The CCUA said.
“Don’t miss this opportunity to connect in-person with your peers while gaining new insights and motivation to accelerate your credit union toward new successes in 2022,” said Cooperative Credit Union Association President/CEO Ron McLean
The meeting will be held at the Newport Marriott in historic downtown waterfront, with all safety protocols as mandated by the state’s Department of Health in place.
