MERIDEN, Conn.– The Credit Union League of Connecticut reported it has entered into a partnership with Rocky Hill, Conn.-based CATIC to provide professional title services to Connecticut’s CUs and their policy-issuing attorneys.
“Our partnership with CATIC will provide education and insight for our credit unions. At a time when multiple regulatory agencies are focused on compliance, CATIC will be a resource for informing our member credit unions on changes that impact the real estate lending process,” said Nick Moalli, vice president-credit union services, for the league in a statement. “We’re looking forward to working with a company that has such a longstanding commitment to Connecticut and the northeast.”
CATIC is New England’s largest domestic title insurance underwriter, and “its staff and the more than 2,200 agents who issue its policies are experts in the nuances of the region’s lending and real estate closing practices,” the league said.
