CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. –Comtrust Federal Credit Union said it will soon break ground on a new corporate headquarters.
The project will be part of a larger initiative around redeveloping Chattanooga’s Westside, where $2.3-billion in new housing and commercial projects are planned, according to the Times Free Press.
According to the report, the $400.4-million Comtrust FCU is planning to build a new three-story office next to its existing headquarters at 1020 Riverfront Parkway. The new headquarters is scheduled to be completed by late 2024 or early 2025 and will anchor the six offices operated across three states by the credit union, the Times Press reported.
‘New Chapter in History’
"We're excited about this new chapter in our history," CEO Johnny Phillips said in a statement. "In an era where online transactions and digital interfaces are prevalent, we still understand the importance of personal relationships and in-person visits.”
