EUREKA, Calif.–Compass Community Credit Union said it is again partnering with the Humboldt Crabs baseball team as the opening pitch is thrown out on its 80th season.
The $172.2-million Compass Community CU said its sponsorship of the Crabs highlights its commitment to the communities it serves.
The sponsorship package encompasses advertising, signage, and support for a team dinner, where Compass will have the opportunity to bring some of its members to eat with the players.
“We’re delighted to renew our partnership with the Crabs baseball team and join in celebrating its 80th season,” Compass President/CEO Ray Litchfield said in a statement. “Supporting the Crabs has become an anticipated tradition for us, marked by our annual barbeque gathering for staff, volunteers, and their families. It’s a fun time for us to come together and watch the Crabs in action.”
This year marks the inaugural season of the Pacific Empire League.
