KANSAS CITY, Mo.–The $2.2-billion CommunityAmerica Credit Union said it has entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League.
Terms of the deal were not released. The initial partnership will focus on in-game marketing, according to one report.
“What it demonstrates is that we’re not afraid to up our game,” said Lisa Ginter, CommunityAmerica’s CEO, in a released statement. “CommunityAmerica is a great offering for banking services in Kansas City, and this will give us access to a huge fan base in a way that will benefit both CommunityAmerica and the Chiefs. “That’s the exciting thing, having access to this enormous fan base. I think the Chiefs will have a very successful season this year as well. Their fans are loyal and have a dedication to their team, and we’re excited to be a part of that. The more we can engage our members the better, so we’ll be looking at creative ways to get our members involved in this partnership.”
