OTTUMWA, Iowa—Community 1st Credit Union here has officially named its new CEO.
Greg Hanshaw, who has been serving as interim CEO since March, has had the interim tag removed and is now the president and CEO of the credit union.
Hanshaw joined Community 1st in 2012 as director of human resources, and was later named the credit union’s chief operating officer in July of 2015
“Greg’s experience, expertise and knowledge of the membership and internal operations made him an obvious choice,” said D. David Boyer, board chair, in a released statement. “We greatly value his leadership in the success and growth of Community 1st Credit Union.”
Prior to joining the credit union, Hanshaw was human resource manager at Dexter Company.
