HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C.–In conjunction with La Macchia Group, Coastal Credit Union here has broken ground on its newest location.
Coastal’s Board Chair Joan Nelson and CEO Chuck Purvis were joined by Holly Springs Assistant Town Manager Daniel Weeks, and Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce CEO Scott Manning at the groundbreaking.
“There are plenty of reasons why this site makes sense for Coastal,” said Purvis. “Over the past several years, Holly Springs has topped our list for future expansion, driven by both member feedback and the impressive growth of the town itself.
Purvis cited requests from Coastal’s existing 5,700 members already living in Holly Springs as a driving force behind the new branch, along with the town’s strong growth and promising outlook.
Initial site work on the 2,800-square-foot building is scheduled to begin in early 2018, and construction should be completed by the third quarter. The new branch will feature three drive-up video tellers, and will offer Coastal’s signature 7am to 7pm teller service, seven days a week.
La Macchia Group is Coastal’s design-build partner for the project.
