WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.–Truliant FCU has announced plans to lay off approximately 30 employees over the next few months.
That represents about 3% of its workforce, according to the $4.72-billion credit union, which told WXII the decision is the result of overstaffing.
Truliant told the news outlet none of the positions are facing and will not involve the contact center.
In addition, reported WXII, those employees affected will be paid for the next two months with benefits and will be able to apply for other roles with the credit union.
As CUToday.info reported here, earlier this year Truliant opened a three-story operations center at the site of a former Macy’s store at the Hanes Mall.
