AKRON, Ohio—Members’ growing reliance on e-services has BFG FCU consolidating two of its locations.
On June 1 the CU will close its Twinsburg branch located at 2067 E. Aurora Road and transfer all savings and loan accounts to the Hudson office at 5714 Darrow Road.
The CU said the move not only increases efficiencies, but allows the $160-million BFG to take advantage of future expansion opportunities in the growing communities of Summit County where the CU currently has no presence.
"We value and appreciate the loyalty and patronage of our Twinsburg Branch and promise that our members will continue to receive the same friendly, personal first-rate service they have come to expect at our Hudson Branch," CEO Michael Owens told the Hudson Hub Times.
