NEW YORK—With competition in the credit card space as challenging as ever, Citi has announced its AAdvantage Platinum Card is offering a limited time welcome bonus of 75,000 American Airlines AAdvantage miles after cardholders spend $3,500 within the first four months.
The card’s $99 annual fee is also being waived for the first 12 months, according to OneMileAtATime.com.
AAdvantage miles are valued at 1.5 cents each, with the bonus now worth $1,125.
“And 75,000 miles is more than enough for a one-way business class ticket on partner airlines to Europe, Asia and the Middle East,” OneMileAtATime.com stated.
The bonus miles aren’t available to those who have received a new account bonus for this card in the past 48 months, One Mile At A Time added.
