AKRON, Ohio—Ohio Catholic FCU announced it has absorbed St. Paul's Parish FCU via a merger.

"I am confident that our shared culture and mission will make joining Ohio Catholic a seamless experience for their members and employees while also providing greater benefits that will positively impact all Catholic community members' financial well-being. We look forward to giving our membership greater credit union access."
Ohio Catholic said it will retain all St. Paul's employees and continue operations at St. Paul's Akron location. The merger will create an institution with approximately 14,500 members and $157 million in assets.
