Children’s Miracle Network’s VoteForMiracles Already 100,000 Votes Ahead Of 2016 Pace

SALT LAKE CITY–Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals announced that its #VoteForMiracles has surpassed 100,000 votes almost a full week ahead of the pace set at the same time last year.

Currently, Mercy Children’s Hospital in Toledo, Ohio, has jumped to the lead among voters, followed by the 2016 winners, Hurley Children’s Hospital in Flint, Mich., and El Paso Children’s Hospital in Texas. Competition for fourth and fifth place remains very tight as well with a dozen hospitals in the hunt, according to CMN.

The hospital with the most votes after the promotion ends on Dec. 19 will win $50,000. Second through fifth place will receive $20,000, $15,000, $10,000 and $5,000, respectively.  The $100,000 donation on behalf of America’s credit unions is made possible thanks to the generosity of CO-OP Financial Services and CU Direct, Children’s Miracle Network reminded.

“We are excited with the wonderful response to Vote for Miracles so far and applaud our credit unions who have really got behind their respective hospitals to rally the vote among their staff, members and the community at large” remarked John Lauck, president and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

According to CMN, many of the top hospitals and their credit union supporters have engaged their local media resulting in several stories on local telecasts, on various social media platforms, and in the print media.

CMN added that both credit unions and hospitals are also implementing a social share custom link builder tool that has simplified the voting process.
