LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla.--The National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations (NACUSO) crowned Charmas the 2026 Next Big Idea Competition winner Tuesday at their Reimagine Conference at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts here.
The annual competition celebrates innovation, collaboration, and game-changing ideas shaping the future of the credit union industry.
Prior to the conference, ideas for solutions that solve challenges for credit unions, are scalable for institutions of all sizes, and demonstrate innovation, collaboration and sustainability were submitted into the competition. Four finalists were chosen as part of the application process. Each finalist had 10 minutes to pitch their solution to a live audience of nearly 500 credit union industry leaders, followed by a Q&A session in front of a panel of industry leaders.
“Charm’s member-focused solution emerged as this year's winner for its ability to prevent real-time fraud,” said Randy Salser, president/CEO of NACUSO. “Through The Next Big Idea Competition, NACUSO is thrilled to support creative solutions that propel the credit union ecosystem forward.”
“Joining fraud prevention expertise with a deep understanding of human psychology proved a winning combination today,” said Roy Zur, CEO and co-Founder of Charm Security. “We’re excited to work alongside an industry where security is of the upmost importance.”
NACUSO also recognized the efforts of three finalists: Duome, Crebit, and Starlight.
