PLANO, Texas–Catalyst Corporate has announced CUNA President Jim Nussle will address its annual Economic & Payments Forum during lunch on Oct. 1, 2019.
According to Catalyst, Nussle will update attendees on CUNA’s future-focused initiatives and highlight how CUNA and the state leagues’ 360-degree advocacy offense is fighting and winning for credit unions. In addition, Nussle will showcase CUNA’s National Awareness Initiative that plans to deploy millions of dollars over the next three years to entice consumers to “Open their Eyes” to a credit union, Catalyst said.

Astronaut On Hand
In addition, Catalyst Corporate said in conjunction with this year’s 50th anniversary of America’s first moon-landing, former astronaut Harrison Schmitt will deliver the keynote speech on October 2, with a special fundraising luncheon for the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation to follow. Attendees will have the chance to meet Schmitt, who made three spectacular moonwalks during his multi-day stay on the lunar surface.
The Economic & Payments Forum is scheduled for Sept. 30-Oct. 3 at the Omni Frisco Hotel, adjacent to the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and Ford Center practice facilities.
