Card Offers Continue to Adjust to Changing Consumer Behavior

NEW YORK—Card issuers continue to adjust their offers to the new lifestyles that have been brought on by the pandemic.

As a result of consumers staying home more and turning to their televisions and computer screens instead of movie theaters, Savor Cash Rewards cardholders can now earn 4% cash back on streaming services such as Hulu, Disney+, Netflix, and more.

Cardholders also get 3% cash back, up from 2%, at grocery stores, excluding superstores such as Walmart and Target.

The card already earned 4% cash back on dining and entertainment.

The Savor Cash Rewards card has a $95 annual fee. Those who carry a SavorOne Cash Rewards card which does not carry an annual fee, earn 3% cash back on dining, entertainment, popular streaming services, and grocery stores, NextAdvisor said.

“You’ll earn 1% cash back on all other purchases. All of those elevated earnings are for an unlimited time,” NextAdvisor said.
