California’s Credit Unions Updates CEO Search, Reaffirms Commitment to Three-State Alliance

ONTARIO, Calif.—California’s Credit Unions on Monday provided an update on its search for a new president and CEO, outlining the leadership transition timeline and reaffirming its commitment to Fuel Solutions and the organization’s three-state alliance with Nevada’s Credit Unions and Utah’s Credit Unions.

In a statement, the trade group said it remains focused on keeping members informed throughout the transition and emphasized that the search process is intended to be transparent, deliberate, and member-centered.

The board of directors reiterated its strong support for Fuel Solutions, the nonprofit support organization created through the strategic alliance among the three state leagues. Fuel Solutions delivers shared services across the alliance and is viewed by the organization as a scalable platform for future collaboration and growth.

California’s Credit Unions acknowledged that questions have surfaced among members regarding the scope of the president and CEO role, its relationship with the Nevada and Utah leagues, and how the Fuel Solutions model operates. To address those concerns, the organization said it has prepared a detailed FAQ explaining both the executive search process and the structure of the alliance.

Members will also have an opportunity to raise questions and discuss the transition during the organization’s next Monthly CEO Call, scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 18. The organization said it welcomes member engagement and looks forward to a constructive discussion as the search moves forward.
