LOS ANGELES—University Credit Union is taking steps to support members affected by the wildfires that have burned over 34,000 acres in Southern California's Santa Clarita Valley as of Monday.
The CU stated on its website that impacted members can take Emergency Loans of up to $5,000 (University of California employees only), personal loans or lines of credit, cash advances, expedited vehicle loans, or a Hometown Hero Equipment Loan with no credit check for up to $2,500.
“If you have been impacted by the Sand Fire, please come see us . . . We are ready to help! Our gratitude goes out to the brave firefighters and first responders who are battling to contain these devastating fires,” the CU stated on its website.
