LAS VEGAS–CUToday.info has joined as a co-sponsor of a new video/podcast that is being launched to enhance the personal and professional development of women in the world’s credit union community.
The video/podcast is aimed at the “wonder women” who are super-fast, super strong, and superheroes at the foundation of the credit union industry. It is being released as part of a special edition series of The Strategic Hotbox by Dr. Brandi Luv Stankovic titled, “Strategic Hotbox: Wonder Women.”
“This new series will bring you fresh, relevant women who are changing lives,” said Stankovic. “You will Learn, Love and Kick Ass with the best and brightest women in the industry as they share their stories of strength, endurance, and heroic efforts throughout their leadership journey.”
The first installment in the new series can be found here.
The popular Strategic Hotbox leadership podcast is the home for business insights and tools to help listeners and viewers take control of their lives and achieve greatness.
This series is being co-sponsored by CUToday.info and Ser Technology. The objective of the podcast is to speak to issues of importance to women, and those who work with and support women, in leadership, both professional and personal, and to tap into the expertise of successful female leaders who can share their insights and experiences.
"Passion and Purpose, what better way to describe women leaders in the credit union industry, except maybe Wonder Women," said Stankovic, who interviews Kathryn Davis, CEO of Balance, in the first podcast. "You will quickly understand why Kathryn was selected for the first episode of Wonder Women. She is a mom, a CEO, a friend and is driven by seeing things change, inspiring others and truly impacting lives."
Why CUToday.info Is Involved
“A great example of how statistics can be misleading is that a majority of CEOs at credit unions are female. But that is largely at smaller credit unions,” said Frank J. Diekmann, co-operator in chief at CUToday.info. “Women are greatly under-represented in management at larger credit unions, in national leadership positions and even on credit union boards, even though more than 50 million women belong to credit unions in the United States. Our goal in helping to sponsor the Wonder Women podcast is to borrow from the credit union motto and have women help women to better achieve their goals.”
Among the upcoming topics of The Wonder Women Series
* The Working Mom with Kathryn Davis – CEO at BALANCE
* Feminine or Feminist with Susan Mitchell – CEO at Mitchell, Stankovic and Associates
* Breaking the Glass Ceiling with Caroline Willard – CEO at Cornerstone Credit Union League
The series is debuting with an in-depth discussion of “The Working Mom.” Remaining episodes will be released in July and August of 2017.
