DES MOINES, Iowa—Bucking the trend of virtual meetings, Choice Creative Solutions plans to host its inaugural Credit Union Relevent 2021 event June 6-9 in Las Vegas.
The meeting is being held to “provide relevant speakers, relevant networking and relevant takeaways for credit union leaders,” the company said.
Relevent 2021 will feature keynoters who include fintech influencer Duena Blomstrom, CUNA economist Steve Rick, credit union educator Jim Austin, and former Playboy CEO Christie Hefner.
“We felt it was important to provide speakers that you might not normally see at a credit union event. For example, Duena Blomstrom has never spoken to credit unions in the United States,” said Choice Creative Solutions President Jeff Klein. “Other speakers will include trailblazing credit union CEOs like Community Choice’s Josh Cook, alongside other thought leaders from Relevent 2021 sponsors. In addition to an incredible lineup of speakers, Relevent 2021 will feature immersive networking opportunities for attendees including events at Top Golf, the High Roller and at the MGM Splash Pool. If this event feels like other credit union events, we’ll have missed our mark.”
Early Bird Discount
Early-bird registration for the event is $1,349, and includes three-nights of accommodations at the MGM resort, most meals and all networking events for attendees and their guests. Attendance at Relevent 2021 will be limited to credit union CEOs and C-level executives.
Choice Creative Solutions emphasized the meeting will be a 100% in-person event.
“As a vendor, we’ve had very minimal success with virtual conferences. It’s almost impossible to replicate the interactions and engagement you find in-person, at a virtual booth,” said Joe Sheridan, head of business development at Simply Focused, the title sponsor of Relevent 2021.
“We need to get back to in-person. The credit union industry needs it and Las Vegas needs it, to be honest,” said Klein.
In addition to Simply Focused, credit union companies like OM Financial, SRM, Allied Solutions, Finastra and Kasasa will be event sponsors.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Limited sponsorship opportunities remain for what is shaping up to be an incredibly exciting and successful inaugural event, according to Klein.
“In our neck of the woods, they say ‘If you build it they will come,’” said Klein. “We are looking forward to building a conference unlike any other and we’re confident that our credit union friends will come.”.
