CUSG’s CUBE TV Studios Offering Series of Free Videos Reinforcing the CU Message

LIVONIA, Mich. – CU Solutions Group’s (CUSG) CUBE TV Studios has produced a series of credit union–focused videos it said are free to use.

“The series of ads reinforce credit unions’ not-for-profit, people-first service mantra by noting the availability of emergency loans, loan restructuring and deferred payments, in addition to reassuring members that their savings are safe, secure and federally insured by NCUA,” said CU Solutions Group, which is a CUSO of the Michigan league.

The company said that as a goodwill effort to the credit union industry in a time of national crisis, it has made the series of five, high-definition digital videos free to use by credit unions nationwide. 

“We want to assist credit unions in letting members, and the public-at-large, know that credit unions have been here before,” said Dave Adams, president and CEO of CU Solutions Group. “Whether the Great Recession of ’08 and ’09, the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, or the recessions in the early 1980s, we’ve always put people first. We’re here and we know how to help. Whether as a shared message of calm and hope, or one customized with each credit union’s trusted brand, the message is strong and welcome.”

Videos are Customizable

CUSG said the videos are free-use for credit unions wherever high-definition video display is available. CUBE TV Studios said it is suggesting leveraging the videos on social media, digital video streaming services, ATMs, GSTV and cable and broadcast television. Additionally, for states not currently under shelter-in-place orders, videos can be displayed on in-branch monitors, movie theaters or through other forms of indoor and outdoor media, the company said.

CUSG said credit unions can customize the videos with their own brands or run them as unbranded. Additionally, CU Solutions Group and CUBE TV Studios said they have arranged for fast and inexpensive customization of these videos for a nominal fee of $249.

“Small- and medium-asset size credit unions make up the majority of our industry,” Adams continued. “It’s important to create a means of professional crisis communications that’s affordable to this segment of the industry. If they choose to customize and brand these videos, they’ll be able to do so quickly and affordably.”
