AUSTIN, Texas–The Credit Union Real Estate Network (CUREN) is marking its 25th anniversary in 2024.
CUREN was founded to provide professional development, ideas for the future and continuing education in leadership and regulatory changes.
Since its inception in1999 membership has grown from a handful of credit unions to over 65 participating credit unions and over 50 affiliate partners, the organization said.
Meetings in the early years were held in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and eventually expanded to Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. In 2023, the group held their first meeting in El Paso.
“These quarterly meetings offer jam packed agendas to keep credit unions and business partners up to speed on industry and economic changes along with a dedicated networking reception,” said Kristin Keller TX CUREN board vice president and SVP-real estate lending at Amplify Credit Union.
“Attendance at these events had grown by more than 300% over the last 10 years.”
