CUNA’s Bell Leaving To Join Colorado Credit Union

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.– Mollie Bell, known to many in the credit union community for her work at the Filene Research Institute and at CUNA, has left the trade association to join Ent Credit Union.

Mollie Bell

Bell has been named chief development officer by the $5.4-billion Ent, where she will bring her “authentic style and extensive credit union experience to the leadership of Ent’s human resources, financial education and training areas in addition to supporting the credit union’s ongoing philanthropy and community relations efforts,” the credit union said.

Bell will begin in the position in mid-December.

Bell is currently chief engagement officer CUNA.  Prior to joining CUNA, she held a similar position with Filene, and prior to that was with CUNA Mutual Group.

In addition to leadership roles at national credit union industry organizations, Bell has been a teacher and consultant and holds a bachelor’s degree from Lamar University and law degree from the University of Texas.

“We are delighted to have a seasoned credit union leader of Mollie’s caliber joining the Ent leadership team,” said Chad Graves, Ent’s CEO. “With the recent addition of six Colorado counties to Ent’s field of membership, we are looking forward to leveraging Mollie’s experience and thought leadership in organizational leadership and change, member engagement and strategic growth.”

‘Dynamic Credit Union’

Added Bell,  “I have gotten to know the team at Ent and could not be more excited to join this dynamic credit union. I am exceedingly proud of the work CUNA does and President/CEO Jim Nussle has been an amazing leader, one that I deeply respect and have learned a great deal from, which made the decision to join Ent bittersweet.”
