WASHINGTON—The CUNA Coaching Leadership School, to be held Sept. 7-9, will share key elements of coaching which create impactful conversations with credit union direct reports, according to the trade group.
“We’re entering into a new normal where employees will have different expectations,” said Tobi Weingart, senior manager at CUNA. “New approaches to management make it important to know how to coach and develop staff.”
This training helps to increase employee engagement and gives credit union people leaders the tools they need to have successful coaching moments with team members, CUNA explained.
Important focal points of the school include:
- How to approach, prepare for and provide a coaching session
- The difference between formal and informal coaching
- Coaching team members to find work-life balance
