MADISON, Wis.–The CUNA Technology and CUNA Operations & Member Experience Council said its annual conference, set for Sept. 29-Oct. 1, will move to a virtual environment.
According to the Council, the agenda will include discussion of:
- Digital transformation
- Leading edge solutions on a shoestring budget
- Effective employee engagement
- Protecting data
- Leadership in difficult times
”Our work isn’t business as usual right now, and neither is this event,” said David Rohn, vice president of CUNA Councils. “This new virtual conference option was adapted from the planned face-to-face event to maximize interactions and relationship-building among peers and thought-leaders with live chat, speaker Q&As and one-on-one networking opportunities. We’ve worked with our executive committee members to create a program that addresses the needs of now.”
Added Chris Saneda, senior EVP/COO with Virginia Credit Union and CUNA Technology Council chair, “Connecting and sharing as credit union professionals is one of the most powerful actions that we can take to support members and fulfill the credit union purpose of people-helping-people.”
