MADISON, Wis.—CUNA Strategic Services and LendKey have entered into a partnership with Conservation Services Group for a program offering homeowners
affordable loans for energy efficiency improvements.
The parties said residential energy efficiency upgrades (HVAC, windows, solar, etc.) are a $40-billion per year industry, even as many consumers remain unaware of the financing incentives that are available to them.
Consumers can apply for a loan using LendKey’s technology, with the funds provided by CUNA Strategic Services’ network of 6,500 credit unions. Homeowners will work through programs implemented by CSG, a company offering energy efficiency expertise.
Loans will be available from $2,000 to $25,000, with terms between seven and 10 years.
