MADISON, Wis.–CUNA has promoted Jill Tomalin to deputy chief of staff, adding the title to her current role as chief operating officer. CUNA said that she will “advise CUNA President and CEO Jim Nussle and Chief of Staff Rich Meade in leading and managing all operations of CUNA.
Tomalin joined CUNA in 2000 as director of educational resources, center for professional development, was promoted to vice president of that department in 2002, promoted to SVP-association services in 2003, and named EVP/COO in 2013. Prior to joining CUNA, Tomalin served in management roles for the Credit Union Executives Society and the Texas Credit Union League.
Separately, the American Association of Credit Union Leagues announced that Tracie Kenyon, CEO of the Montana CU League, has been elected as its chairman.
Other members of the AACUL board include: first vice chairman, Mark Cummins, CEO, Minnesota Credit Union Network; second vice chairman, Scott Simpson, Utah’s Credit Unions; treasurer, Diana Dykstra, CEO, California & Nevada Credit Union Leagues; immediate past chair, Bill Mellin, and Susan Newton, AACUL executive director.
