WASHINGTON–CUNA has officially announced the dates of the largest credit union event of the year, its 2017 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference. The event will be held Feb. 26 to March 2 in Washington, with CUNA saying 5,000 people are expected.
The meeting is held at the Washington Convention Center.
“CUNA GAC unites credit unions around our powerful cause,” said CUNA President/CEO Jim Nussle in a statement. “It’s a great conference and networking event. It’s our time to bring our message to Washington, D.C. Credit unions are different, and we make a difference for our more than 100 million members and their communities.”
For the seventh year CUNA said it will be welcoming young professionals to get engaged at CUNA GAC. Professionals under the age of 35 will have the opportunity to attend through a scholarship facilitated by The Cooperative Trust. More information on these scholarships can be found here.
